Do you think it would be nice to have an IE8 Web Accelerator  to add an website to the ME?

I Think it can be done but I don't have VS2010 to run tests

Hello,

You can download visual studio 2010 trial by the following link: http://www.microsoft.com/visualstudio/en-us/download

There are you can extend your trial also.

Thanks,

Alexey.

Jacob, basically accelerator can do 2 types of actions: preview some part of html without leaving the page or execute some action, i.e. send post/get/etc to some url with some parameters. I think the only way we can use accelerator within ie8 to send url to ME is to register own URI schema like "me:" (skype does so, it uses "callto:"), and then send current page url to me using following URI "me:http://currentsite.com/currentpage.html" Then, IE will send this uri to ME and ME will work with this data. This is detailed doc on accelerators http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc289775(VS.85).aspx
