How to compile source code

Can anyone explain how to compile the source code? I tried downloading visual studio, but after that I am lost. I am used to Linux compiling, and it's much easier.

Hello mjcocat!

First you should download visual studio 2010. You can find it by the following link: http://www.microsoft.com/visualstudio/en-us/download

Then just open solution file (MouseExtender.sln) with visual studio and press build.

Thanks,

Alexey

I figured it out, thanks! The problem I had was I was trying the C++ version, not c#. Thanks for the help! I also found some post about using msbuild.exe, what is that all about?

Just use visual studio 2010 and you will able to compile all the sources.

Visual Studio internally uses c# compiller and msbuild.
